The National Water and Climate Knowledge and Innovation programme (Nationaal Kennis- en innovatieprogramma Water en Klimaat – NKWK) is taking the next step in organising knowledge and expertise on water and climate issues. Businesses, governments and research institutions cooperate in NKWK to share their knowledge and innovation to make the Netherlands water robust and climate proof.
Rijkswaterstaat and STOWA organise on behalf of all promoters this NKWK launch conference. The purpose of this initial conference is to examine the possibilities for new partnerships and merging of research programs. The focus will be on water security, fresh water, marine & coastal policy and spatial adaptation. There are informative sessions on generic themes for water and climate, and smaller workshops on a specific topic.
